I’d forgotten about this video . Mark passed away recently, sadly, but what an amazing collection and history he left behind.
He crossed the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! in 1970, and you catch a small glimpse of his CJ-7 from the crossing , but the more interesting vehicles are the military ones, particularly the Bantam prototype.

That desert SAS Jeep is awesome. Love the paint technique. Also, drinking water from the engine is pretty hardcore. Those SAS guys are a bit nuts.

No kidding, on all of the above. I couldn’t tell from his description whether the Jeep was a survivor of that conflict, but I suspect not. Somewhere someone surely has a description of all of his Jeeps.

In the video he says it’s “copied after” the ones used by the SAS so I’m going to assume that means replica.

I thought he said that in the context of the paint job, but you’re probably right.
